Palette focus#2...

The retail price for this pretty set is around £45 but I was lucky enough to be invited to a duty free night at Christmas and got an extra 25% off the duty free price.

Clarins vanity includes six eye shadow shades, a blush, a pressed powder a miniature lip gloss and mascara. It also comes with the usual mini blush brush and eye shadow applicator, I've actually started to use these type of mini blush brushes to contour with.

I really like this type of brush gives my eyelashes a fuller look, however I usually use a waterproof mascara.

This lip gloss has an iridescence to it which is lovely, however I find it a bit sticky.

From left to right is the lipgloss, 6 eyeshadows and the blush. These eyeshadows are really smooth and feel luxurious, they are definitely my favourite kind of colours. I also love the peach/coral tone of the blusher, great for spring summer.

Do you have any Clarins makeup palettes, if so what do you think of them?

I used to have something really similar

  2. These swatched so nicely- they look so pigmented! I've never tried any Clarins palettes, but after seeing how lovely these look swatched, I want to give it a try. I usually am drawn to more warm browns and golds, but these rosy shades would probably be great for spring :) Thanks for sharing, Laura!
