Dupe for a MAC pigment...

I've been shopping my stash recently and have fallen in love with this pigment again, this is a models own eyeshadow pigment in white pearl.  I've always wanted to buy a MAC pigment but I wanted to try and get a cheaper alternative first, I think this was less than £5.  This is truly a lovely glimmery product which I love putting in the corners of my eyes or dusting lightly over other eyeshadows.

This close up shows the beautiful iridescent sheen it has.

Lip gloss on the left & pink pout lipstick on the right

I like putting the Victoria Secrets lip gloss over the top of the Revlon lipstick as it gives this beautiful colour

Favourite Lush products...

Angels On Bare Skin Cleanser - This is great when my skin is acting up, it leaves my skin feeling really fresh. It has lavender oil & rose to calm the skin and almonds which also helps tone and brighten the skin.

Snow Fairy shower gel is only sold at Christmas hence why I bought this huge bottle! (I've already used up smaller bottles of this).  It is so sweet smelling and I just love it.

Shampoo bar in squeaky green - This shampoo bar leaves my hair feeling so fresh, I use this when I've used a lot of hair products as this thoroughly cleanses my hair.  The Lush shampoo bars are great for travelling as they are so small and they last so long. I store it in the Lush shampoo bar tin.

Happy Hippy shower gel - This is a lovely shower gel to use in the morning time as it contains grapefruit which is zesty.

Turkish Delight Shower Smoothie - This is probably my all time favourite Lush product which has almond oil and cocoa butter in it that is rich & creamy and leaves my skin so soft.

May wish list...

The body shop cleansing oil - I have been hearing lots of good reviews about this and I love using oils as my skin is dry.

Elf blush brush - I want to get this to use when my other blush brushes are being washed.

Elf angled eyeliner brush - I had this brush before but have lost it and I remember it was pretty good.

Jimmy Choo perfume - I always try this when I'm in boots so I think I just need to go ahead and buy it.  I think it's pretty similar to flowerbomb.

Cleansing butter from the body shop - I've been hearing so many good reviews about this so of course want to try it.

MAC face and body foundation

The body shop tea tree body wash - I am prone to getting tiny spots on my upper arms so I want to try this tea tree wash to see if this help.

What's on your wish list?

Weekend mini beauty/skincare haul...

Hi all, well as usual I went into Boots to buy one thing which was the Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge then I noticed it was 3 for 2 on all makeup and makeup accessories.  Of course I had to go and have a quick look a the makeup aisle to see what I could get.  I've always eyed up the collection 2000 cream puff cream lip colours, they are only £2.99 each so I ended up getting the cotton candy and fairy cake shade.

I always seem to have blackheads so I like to try every product aimed at eliminating them. I noticed that boots had these Quick Fix masks on sale for £3.  I chose the Quick Fix Facial Purifying Charcoal Mask which is aimed at getting rid of whiteheads & blackheads.

I haven't been using toners lately and decided to see what the Botanics range had to offer. All their products were half price so I picked up the Botanics All Bright Cleansing Toner I remember using this product ages ago and really liked it.  I then decided to buy a spray bottle to put it into to spray over my face then wipe off with a cotton pad.  I bought this spray bottle in boots for £1.55, best thing is I bought this with some of my boots points:)

What have you bought in boots recently?

April beauty/skincare favourites...

~Rimmel wake me up concealer in ivory - this concealer hides my dark circles and doesn't crease or cake during the day
~Rimmel stay matte powder in 001 transparent  - as it's getting slightly warmer I've been needing to powder my t'zone every day
~MUA undress your skin shimmer highlighter - this is only £3 and is such a nice highlighter!
~Collection lasting perfection concealer in fair - I've had a few mammoth size spots this month and this is the best concealer for covering them
~Maybelline rocket volume waterproof mascara - I'm starting to get hayfever and in the mornings my eyes constantly water on the way to get the bus so I need to wear waterproof mascaras.
~Avon extra lasting foundation in shell - this is slightly dark for me so I blend it with the B. cc cream, this has great coverage.
~Maybelline brow drama in medium brown - this gives me lovely natural shaped brows
~Accessorize baked highlighting blusher - I used to be able to buy this in my local Superdrug but they don't seem to stock them any more and I can't find blusher online
~Revlon just bitten kissable stain in 040 rendezvous - orange seems to be this years spring summer colour and this is such a gorgeous tone of orange:)
~Superdrug deep action blemish gel - as I said I've had a few huge spots this month and his is the only thing that seems to calm them
~Olay regenerist renewal elixir night - I've been loving mixing this with my night cream
~B. cc cream in light - I use this to mix with the Avon foundation as it's slightly dark for me.
~Maybelline 24hr colour tattoo in eternal gold - this has been my go to eye shadow primer
~Naked 1 palette - as you can see I love the lighter colours in this palette.

Superdrug mini haul, again...

I love trying different dry shampoos so decided to go into Superdrug to see what they had. I bought the super volume Superdrug dry shampoo, I think it was around £1.25, it doesn't seem to be on the Superdrug website so it's maybe a new product.  I like using Superdrug own brand products as they aren't tested on animals and they are usually cheaper.

When I travel some of my products seem to get wet or slightly leak so I wanted to buy a wash bag to put these products in.  I bought this small drawstring wash bag and of course I had to buy this one as it has stars on it!:)

I get really dry skin around my nose area and nothing seems to moisturise it fully. Therefore I'm on the constant hunt for a product that will actually work!  The B. range is still half price so I thought I would have a look and see what they had.  I found this replenishing oil which is aimed at hydrating skin.  Here is a description of it from the Superdrug website:

A powerful antioxidant-rich formulation to help protect and hydrate the skin.

B. Replenished and help calm stressed skin with a burst of moisture and a boost of antioxidants.

  • Helps protect against environmental free radical damage - With a potent blend of Vitamins C & E that helps to boost the skin's antioxidant levels.
  • 12 hour intense hydration - Instantly softens and smoothes with Rosehip, Argan and Crambe seed oil.
  • Non pore-blocking formula.
  • Suitable for all skin types.

  • I have used it twice and it seems to be helping my dry skin, so fingers crossed it will work!:)

    April empties...

    • Pure Coconut dry shampoo - I really enjoyed this product, I think it's the coconut smell that I loved he most. I bought this in a 'Savers' shop for less the £2.
    • The Body Shop bronzing powder in 01 - This was one of my favourite bronzers and I accidently dropped it and it broke, I can no longer use it as it spills everywhere when I open it:( (pic below)
    • Origins vita-zing tinted moisturiser - I've probably had this for a year and only recently used it all up.  It is too dark for me to wear on it's on but I loved wearing it under makeup.
    • Collection illuminating concealer - I really enjoy using this, I recently bought a new one as it's less than £5 and I think it does a pretty good job for the price.
    • Lush bubblegum lip scrub - I loved this lip scrub especially the yummy bubblegum smell!
    • Urban decay travel size all nighter setting spray, I'll be purchasing the full size version of this (keeping the bottle use when travelling).
    • Mac studio fix fluid - this is too dark for my skin tone but I used this foundation when I wore fake tan. This is the only MAC foundation I've used and really liked it, what's your favourite MAC foundation?  There's some foundation left in the bottle but it doesn't want to come out!lol!
    • Estee lauder double wear foundation in Shell - this is hands down the longest wearing foundation, however my skin has to be super moisturised to use it as it's quite drying on my skin.  At the minute I have dry skin around my nose and this foundation just clings to it.
    • Hand sanitiser in coconut an lime - I find this hand sanitiser in smaller chemists and it's my absolute favourite one as it doesn't leave my hands feeling dry after using plus it smells lovely!
    • Pure face wipes - I picked these up in Primark, they come in a pack of two. They were actually pretty good and were really moist.
Can you tell I like sweet smelling products?lol!

A pic of my poor bronzer... any ideas what I could do with this?
